LL.B. : Lieutenant, 14th Machine Gun Coy., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in June, 1915, and sailing in September with 9th Reinforcements 2nd Battn., was drafted to 5th Division in Egypt and, arriving in France in June, 1916, served at Fromelles, Somme, Bullecourt, Ypres, Villers-Bretonneux and elsewhere until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
