Book of Remembrance entry
M.B. : Captain A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Sea Transport Service; also R.A.M.C., B.E.F., France. Enlisting in London 8th August, 1914, and crossing to France on 23rd, was twelve months with R.A.M.C. as lieutenant and from August, 1915, on transport service till return to Australia in December. Then was on Home Service (full time) till February, 1917. Early education at Sydney Grammar School. Later at St. John's College.
