26.9.14; sailed 22.12.14, Pte. 14th Btn.; at Gallipoli landing; severely wounded 1.5.15, but refused furlough home; Cpl. 29.7.15.
Killed in action on Gallipoli on 8th August 1915. Piace and manner of death unknown; his body was not recovered.
