Book of Remembrance entry
B.V.Sc. : Captain, A.A.V.C., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 15th June, 1915, and sailing 10th November in charge of over 600 horses, became Veterinary Officer, 2nd Artillery Division, in Egypt and, crossing to France early in 1916, served continuously until demobilisation. Mentioned in Despatches twice. Early education at St. Ignatius' College.
