Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Chaplain, R.A.N. Enlisting 1st May, 1913, served in H.M.A.S. Encounter 6th August, 1914, until August, 1916, acting as coder and decoder of wireless signals while R.A.N. was seeking German Pacific Squadron. Upon demobilisation, joined the Army late in 1916 as Chaplain, but could not get to the Front. Professor Francis Anderson Prizeman.
