Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M., F.R.C.S. : Surgeon, R.A.N. Enlisting at the outbreak of War, and sailing 20th August, 1914, on Naval hospital ship Grantala , served throughout commission till December bringing wounded from New Guinea to Sydney and later at Fiji. Then transferred to R.A.N. Reserve with care of Depot and Tingira . Early education at Sydney Church of England and Sydney Grammar Schools.
