Amb., 31st Div.; camps in England June-July; thence to main ambulance camp Kantara, Egypt; to France early in 1916; injured March 1916; discharged in London April 1916 and returned to Australia. Joined A.A.M.C. as Capt. in 1917 and served ten months at C.C.S. Broadmeadows.
