M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting in February, 1917, and sailing in June, served with Command Depots in England, and 7th and 5th Australian Field Ambulances and Second Divisional Train in France until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney and Fort St. High Schools.
