Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Signaller, 19th Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli. Enlisting in May, 1915, and sailing in June with 2nd Reinforcements, joined battn., proceeding to Anzac Cove 18th August, and remaining there until the Evacuation. After further training at Zeitoun and Ferry Post, Egypt, was returned to Australia to complete medical course in April, 1916. Early education at Fort St. High School.
