Book of Remembrance entry
Econ. I l l : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 1st September, 1914, and sailing 20th October, served with first Australian Field Ambulance at Gallipoli from the Landing until the Evacuation. Crossing to France in March, 1916, was at Fromelles, Somme, Bullecourt, Menin Road, Ypres, Strazeele, Harbonni&res and elsewhere until return with the original Anzacs in November, 1918.
