Book of Remembrance entry
Arts : Signaller, 54th Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in June, 1916, and sailing in February, 1917, served with Medium Trench Mortars and with Field Artillery as layer, linesman and despatch carrier. Wounded at St. Julien in June, gassed and buried at Ypres in December, and invalided to Australia, arriving in July, 1918. Early education at Herberton High School and Technical College. EE
