M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 1st Februaiy, 1917, and sailing 3rd April, served at No. 14 Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, from 15th May. Joining 2nd A.L.H. Field Ambulance 25th September, 1918, became R.M.O. 5th A.L.H. Regt. from 26th September to 6th March, 1919, returning in January, 1920. Early education at Newcastle High School.
