M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 1st March, 1916, and sailing 28th August after service at No. 4 Australian General Hospital, Randwick, was at No. 2 A.G. Hospital, Wimereux, from 5th November. Joining 4th Australian Field Ambulance, 12th January, 1918, became R.M.O. 4th Australian Machine Gun Battn. from n th March to 7th December. Then was at No. 3 A.G.H., Abbeville for three months and No. 2 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Southall, for two months prior to demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
