B.A. : Private, 33rd Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 21st November, 1916, and sailing 24th January, 1917, joined battn. in August and served at Zonnebeke and Passchendaele, where wounded 15th October and evacuated to hospitals at Rouen, Whalley, Dartford and Weymouth, finally arriving in Australia 7th March, 1918. Early education at Forbes District School. Later at Wesley College.
