Book of Remembrance entry
Med. : Captain, 8th Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 2nd March, 1915, and sailing 8th April with 4th Reinforcements 1st Field Artillery Brigade, joined battery at Anzac. After the Evacuation returned to Egypt and, crossing to France, served till demobilisation. Commissioned In the Field , France, 17th May, and promoted lieutenant, 1st September, 1916; captain, 24th October, 1918.
