Law : Private, 49th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 15th January, 1916, when 17, was sent from 12th Battn. Reinforcements to A.A.M.C. until 18, when transferred to 4th Reinforcements 49th Battn. Sailing 8th August, joined battn. in France in November and served at Battles of Somme, Delville Wood, Pozieres and Flers, where wounded 31st January, 1917, and evacuated to hospital, returning to Australia 20th October.
