M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England. Enlisting in August, 1914, and sailing 14th July, 1915, served in England till December. Then returned from Alexandria to Australia as M.O. hospital ship Kanowna and served at Liverpool Camp till March, 1916, when demobilised on account of ill-health.
