B.A., Law II : Lieutenant, 12th Battn. Cameronians, and Machine Gun Corps, B.E.F., France. Enlisting in London in May, 1915, served in above units. Was wounded in Messines Ridge in June, 1916, and again at Passchendaele in September, 1917, and demobilised unfit, returning to Australia in December, 1919. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
