M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 1st March, 1916, and sailing 4th April, served as R.M.O. 33rd Battn. until wounded 1st July, 1917. Was attached to No. 3 Command Depot, Bovington Camp, Dorset, 29th October, and, joining 1st Australian Field Ambulance 27th September on return to France, was R.M.O. 2nd Battn. from 1st October and 3rd Field Artillery Brigade from 29th December till demobilisation. Member of St. Paul's College.
