Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Chaplain, A.I.F., Gallipoli and Egypt. Enlisting 2nd November, 1914, and sailing 19th December, was attached to 6th A.L.H. Regt. till 15th May, 1915, and then at Gallipoli from 20th May to 15th October, when invalided to hospital and Australia. At Gallipoli was temporarily transferred to 3rd Infantry Brigade 12th July, and from August was sole chaplain to 3rd Infantry and 2nd A.L.H. Bdes., 3rd Field Artillery and all units on extreme right
