M.B., Ch.M. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting about July, 1915, and sailing n th October, served with 1st A.L.H. Field Ambulance in Upper Egypt, Sinai and Palestine till injured in railway accident in Sinai Desert, returning to Australia in August, 1917. Promoted major, 29th June, 1916. Early education at The Scots College.
