M.B., Ch.M. : Lieutenant, 8ist and 210th Batteries, R.G.A., B.E.F., France. Sailing privately when a third year medical student, enlisted in London 10th November, 1916, and trained at cadet schools at London, Maresfield Park and Lydd. Crossing to France, served with Siege Batteries, returning to Australia in March, 1918. Early education at The King's School.
