Arts : Corporal, 2nd Battn., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 7th September, 1916, and sailing 6th June, 1917, joined battn. 26th November and served at Hazebrouck, Villers-Bretonneux and elsewhere until the Armistice and then at H.O., London, 1919-20, returning in March. Early education at Sydney High School. Later at Teachers' College.
