B.A. : Private, 56th Battn., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 25th April, 1916, and sailing 25th October, trained as signaller at Hurdcott and, crossing to France in May, 1917, served at Ypres, Wyschaete Ridge and Villers-Bretonneux, where gassed 20th April, 1918, and until demobilisation. Member of Teachers' College.
