M.B., Ch.M. : Private, A.F.C., A.F.A. and A.I.F., France. Enlisting as wireless operator 8th November, 1916, and sailing in 1917, joined 6th Training Squadron as air-mechanic A.F.C. but transferred to 8th Field Artillery Brigade and served until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
