Book of Remembrance entry
Econ. : Bombardier, 41st Battery, A.F.A., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 27th August, 1914, and sailing 20th September, was present at the Anzac Landing with 7th Battery, being invalided to Malta in October and thence to England. Joining 41st Battery in France in July, 1916, served until wounded and gassed in August, 1917. Returned on 1914 Leave in May, 1918, and was discharged at the Armistice.
