Arts III (e) : Flight-Cadet, R.A.F., B.E.F. and Y.M.C.A., A.I.F., England. Sailing 30th September, 1916, as Y.M.C.A. Field Secretary, was in charge of Depot at Westham Camp, England, until enlisting in March, 1918. Then served at Training Depots till death. Killed by Accident, Montrose, 23rd September, 1918, in final flight practice and buried in Montrose (Sleepy Bullock) Cemetery. Early education at Sydney High School. Later at Teachers' College.
