Book of Remembrance entry
Pharmacy: Staff-Sergeant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and England. Enlisting 8th January, 1916, and sailing 18th February, was at Parkhouse Camp and then for two months at Moascar Camp, returning to Australia in January, 1917. After acting as dispenser at Duntroon, served at Salisbury Plain, conducted non-commissioned officers to France. Returned to Australia on hospital ship in December, 1917, and was discharged, liable to recall, 22nd January, 1918. Early education at Windsor and Homebush Grammar Schools.
