B.Ec. : Corporal, 18th Battn., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Enlisting 31st July, 1915, and sailing 2nd November, served with battn. in Sinai and France until wounded at Ypres 13th September, 1916. On recovery rejoined battn. and fought until again wounded at Menin Road 20th September, 1917, when invalided to England and thence to Australia, arriving in February, 1918. Promoted corporal, 17th August, 1916. Early education in Wales.
