M.B., Ch.M. : Lieutenant, R.F.C., B.E.F., England; also A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt. Enlisting 13th December, 1915, and sailing on 18th with hospital unit, was returned from Egypt and discharged 14th May, 1916. Proceeding to England, joined R.F.C. at Whitehall, was commissioned (second-lieutenant) in September, and served until demobilised medically unfit in July, 1917. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
