Book of Remembrance entry
B.D.S. : Lieutenant, A.F.C., and A.F.A., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting 20th March, 1916, and sailing 23rd December with Artillery, fought with 9th Light Trench Mortar Battery, and with 8th Brigade A.F.A. from 27th July, 1917, till invalided to England in 26th January, 1918. Joined A.F.C. as cadet 9th August, was commissioned in April, 1919, and served till demobilisation. Early education at The Armidale School.
