Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 9th October, 1916, and sailing 10th February, 1917, joined 6th Australian Field Ambulance 27th May, becoming R.M.O. 23rd Battn. from 27th June, 1917, to 10th June, 1918. Served at No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Rouen, from 1st September and as R.M.O., 2nd Divisional Ammunition Column from 15th September until demobilisation, although gassed and severely ill for a time. Early education at Newington College.
