M.B., Ch.M.; F.R.C.S. (Edin.) : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 29th October, 1917, and sailing 28th February, 1918, joined No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Rouen, n th September. Transferred to 15th Australian Field Ambulance 13th October and was R.M.O. 58th Battn. and 31st from 1st November, 1918, to 26th March, 1919, returning in August, 1920. Early education at Toowoomba Grammar School. Later at St. Paul's College.
