Enlisting 13th June, 1916, and sailing in January, 1917, served from June at Ypres, Bullecourt, Passchendaele, Peronne, Dernancourt, Villers-Bretonneux and elsewhere, attending Australian Corps Central School, Rue, while awaiting demobilisation.
