Book of Remembrance entry
Not in original Book of Remembrance. Enlisted in the AIF as a Private on 15 December 1915. Embarked from Sydney on HMAT Wiltshire 22 August 1916 and served in France in the 1st Battalion, 18th Reinforcements. Northcott was wounded several times while on active service. He finished his service for the AIF as a Lieutenant before being demobilised and returning to Australia 8 January 1919. Northcott then picked up his career as a teacher after his war service.
