B.A. : Chaplain, A.I.F., France. Enlisting 17th October, 1916, and sailing 17th November, was attached to A.F.C. till demobilisation, though gassed at Villers- Bretonneux in June, 1918. Promoted Chaplain (Class 3), 27th October, 1918.Early education at Maitland High and Newcastle Collegiate Schools. Later at St. Paul's College.
