B.A.,Th.L.; M.A. (Oxon.) : Chaplain, Royal Army Chaplain's Department, Mesopotamia. Enlisting in Calcutta in 1916, was gazetted 23rd April, 1917, and served with 36th Brigade in Mesopotamia until the end of the War. Early education at Fort St. Model School.
