Book of Remembrance entry
M.B. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and France. Enlisting and sailing in May, 1915, served at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Lemnos. On return to Egypt, joined 2nd Australian Field Ambulance 1st February, 1916, transferring to 14th on 24th February and 15th in France on 3rd July, returning to Australia in December. Promoted major, 1st January, 1916. Early education at St. Joseph's College.
