Book of Remembrance entry
L.R.C.P. & S. (Edin.), L.R.F.P.S. (Glas.), Med.: Lieutenant, R.A.F., B.E.F., France and England. Enlisting at Wellington, N.Z., in March, 1917, and sailing in November, served till the Armistice. Becoming a cadet in the Distribution Depot, England, 1st January, 1919, was gazetted secondlieutenant, 15th February. Returned to New Zealand 5th June, thence coming to Australia. Early education at Nelson College, N.Z.
