M.B., Ch.M. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting 1st March, 1916, and sailing 12th October, served as R.M.O. 2nd A.L.H. Training Regt., Moascar, from 27th November. Joining No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, El Arish, 21st March, 1917, was with 4th A.L.H. Field Ambulance from 10th July, 1917, to September, 1918, being R.M.O. n th A.L.H. Regt. in August and October, 1917. Appointed to No. 14 Australian General Hospital, Port Said, 9th September, 1918, and D.A.D.M.S., Egypt, 7th March, 1919, serving till demobilisation. Promoted major, 14th February, 1919.
