Pharmacy : Staff-Sergeant, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 5th December, 1915, was promoted sergeant in charge of A.A.M.C. Details in camp and sailed in June, 1916, as staff-sergeant, subsequently transferring to 2nd Australian Field Ambulance as staff sergeant dispenser and returning to Australia in August, 1917. Early education at Christian Brothers' High School, Lewisham.
