Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Private, 35th Battn. and A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting 8th March, 1917, and sailing in October, served with A.A.M.C. at camps in England till October, 1918. Then answered the call for Infantry volunteers and joined 35th Battn., reaching France at the Armistice and remaining there till return for demobilisation. Early education at Helensburgh Public School. Later at Teachers' College.
