Book of Remembrance entry
M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting n th May, 1917, and sailing in June, joined No. 14 Australian General Hospital, Cairo. During the greater part of 1918 was with 3rd A.L.H. Field Ambulance and, for a time, R.M.O. 8th A.L.H. Regt. in Palestine and Syria. After the Armistice, served at No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, Moascar, A.I.F. H.Q., Cairo, and till demobilisation. Early education at Newington College. Later at St. Andrew's.
