M.B., Ch.M. : Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., B.E.F., England and France. Enlisting in March, 1915, was gazetted 27th April and sailing immediately, served at Salisbury Plain and in France, returning to Australia in July, 1916. Early education at Sydney Grammar School. Later at St. Andrew's College.
