Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Hon. Lieutenant, Y.M.C.A., A.I.F., Egypt and France. Joining in February, 1916, and sailing n th March, was attached to 12th Brigade at Serapeum Rail Head during April and May. Crossing to France in June, served with several units at Armentieres, Ypres and the Somme until June, 1917. Then was at Havre with Australian Base Depot, Rouelles, and during 1918 with 1st Convalescent Depot. Early education at Clarence Town and Cook's Hill Public Schools and Cooerwull Academy. Later at St. Andrew's College (Divinity).
