B.D.S.; D.D.S. (Tor.) : Corporal, 4th Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 20th May, 1915, and sailing 8th August, fought at Gallipoli from 31st October to the Evacuation. Crossing to France in March, 1916, fought at Fleurbaix, Pozieres, Bullecourt, Ypres and the Somme, where wounded 12th April, 1918. Rejoining battn. in May, served until demobilisation. Early education at Sydney High School. Later one year in Engineering.
