V.D., B.A. : Major, 19th Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli. Appointed major 19th Battn. 12th April, 1915, and sailing 25th June, arrived at Anzac in August and served till death. Killed in Action, Dardanelles, 5th September, 1915, and buried in Hill 60 Cemetery, Anzac. Early education at All Saints' College, Bathurst.
