Diploma in Economics and Commerce : Corporal, 6th Bde., A.F.A., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 30th September, 1915, and sailing 30th June, 1916, fought with battn. in France until wounded and gassed at Passchendaele 27th September, 1917. On recovery rejoined battn. and, though again wounded and gassed at Villers-Bretonneux 7th August, 1918, served until demobilisation. Early education at Fort St. High School.
