Book of Remembrance entry

M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting in July, 1916, and sailing 10th May, 1917, served at Parkhouse, Salisbury Plain, for six weeks and then No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Abbeville. Joining 2nd Australian Field Ambulance 5th January, 1918, was relieving R.M.O. 5th, 6th and 7th Battns. and, transferring to 1st A.F.Amb. was R.M.O. 2nd Battn. from 1st July till severely wounded at Borre on 19th and evacuated to hospital for three months. Then was at No. 3 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, finally acting as Registrar until demobilisation. Early education at St. Joseph's College. Later at St. John's.
