Book of Remembrance entry
B.A. : Private, A.N. and M.E.F., New Guinea. Enlisting 10th August, 1914, and sailing on 19th, served for six months in New Guinea. Endeavoured several times to re-enlist in A.I.F. on return, but was blocked by Defence and Education Departments on account of being a Technical Teacher. Early education at Inverell Superior Public School. Later at Teachers' College.
